On August 16, 1977, David Stanley was among the first  to discover his beloved stepbrother, Elvis Presley dead from a prescription drug overdose in his Graceland Mansion in Memphis, TN. Deeply affected by this tragic loss David, set his own life a new course. He overcame his own addictions to drugs and developed new priorities centered on educating, motivating, inspiring and helping others.

 

Founded by David Stanley in memory of his stepbrother Elvis Presley, RAISED ON ROCK Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to increase awareness, provide support, and fight the battle of street and prescription drug abuse.
